I’m 30, I’m American, I live in Belgium. Those are the basics.
Sewing is my current obsession and I’ll mostly post about my attempts to sew clothes for myself and my family. I have a manual Bernina from the 90s that my husband bought me for Christmas a few years back. It took me an embarrassing amount of time before I even plugged the dang thing in, but now I’m fully motivated to design my own handmade wardrobe and figure out my personal style in the process.
What else can you expect to read about here? My many bumbling attempts at going through life as a clueless expat in a very bureaucratic country. Raising two kids in a culture and language different from my own.
In other words, this blog is about me and the stuff that fills my time.
I used to live in Kyrgyzstan, you can visit my old blog and read about my time there (if you’d like).
